Things are moving along a fair clip and now we're onto Flickr. This will take a bit more work than expected but something I wanted to investigate years ago. A few photos have been loaded already and some need to be rescanned. Yes, rescanned since they are from the old days, i.e., pre-digital camera years.

  2. Alan, it seems to me you have had your "world tour" already without having to win 649 !! Very nice pictures.... my brother has been wanting to take us to Colorado (somewhere) and just today he said to me that he was driving up and down the mountains and I naturally got scared and told him that I would definitely have a tremble all over me if I were to join him... !! But seeing your pictures in some parts of Colorado has changed my mind... thanks for sharing.... :)

  3. Anonymous: if you can get to Colorado, by all means go. The roads are very safe and the views wonderful. My favourite stretch of highway is south of Colorado Springs, on highway 25. The mountains are on your right, the west side and on the east side is the prairie, a little rolling in parts, but again spectacular. Another great trill is to drive into the mountains beyond Denver. This coming from a man who is afraid of heights (and no man should ever admit that).

  4. Graham: I bet that you've never seen a photographic slide. In the last Ice Age some of us took more slides than anything else. Slides were great for slideshows but getting the things scanned is a lot more work than just photographs.
